The 053PM12X1 series is a family of synchronous buck DC/DC power modules that brings high efficiency and reliability together on a single compact board (80 × 40 mm). Thanks to its wide 15–72 V input range, it can be used directly on 24 V and 48 V bus systems without an intermediate converter. Its 12 V regulated output, with better than 1% regulation accuracy, improves system stability, while 5 A (60 W) and 8 A (96 W) continuous current options cover different power needs. The output voltage can be adjusted down to 0.8 V through the feedback (FB) resistors, and fixed variants such as 5 V and 3.3 V can be built to suit your project.

At the heart of the module are a synchronous rectification architecture and a peak current mode controller. This architecture reaches 95% full-load efficiency even at 48 V input, keeping thermal load to a minimum despite the small footprint. The controller is qualified to automotive grade (AEC-Q100 Class 1) and operates reliably up to a 150 °C maximum junction temperature. With a standby current of only 55 μA, it stays efficient while the system is idle.

Electrical noise (EMI) management is critical in harsh industrial and automotive environments. The 053PM12X1 series is equipped with Dual-Random Spread Spectrum (DRSS) and integrated Active EMI Filtering (AEF), allowing it to meet CISPR 25 and UNECE Reg 10 — among the most demanding standards in the automotive industry. Built-in protection and control features such as overcurrent protection (hiccup mode), a Power Good signal and a hardware enable input (EN) take the module’s reliability to the highest level.
