030MOPM v10

One of the most critical needs of VTOL and fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms is a safe and stable power supply for their electronics. The 030MOPM v10 Multi-Channel Autopilot Power Board, designed by Kinevo Dynamics, is a power distribution solution that feeds the autopilot, avionics and payload systems from a single battery bus. It removes the need for separate regulator boards and complex wiring harnesses, and significantly simplifies system integration.

With a compact footprint of only 80 × 60 mm, the board operates over a wide 28–58 V DC input window and delivers 270 W of continuous power in total. Fed through a common input protection chain, it provides five independent output rails: two 5 V, one 8 V, one 12 V and one 24 V. Each rail is a separately regulated buck converter and can supply 5 A of continuous current.

Operational safety is where the 030MOPM v10 is strongest. The system is equipped with layered protection: lossless MOSFET-based reverse polarity protection, input overvoltage (OV) cut-off, undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and 1.5 kW transient suppression. Built-in soft-start and sequenced turn-on limit inrush current to protect system components, while the independent rail architecture prevents a fault on one rail from propagating to the others — maximising mission reliability.

Built with AEC-Q100/Q200 automotive-grade components, the 030MOPM v10 is a flight-ready design that operates reliably from −40 °C to +85 °C.
